Bay of Lights – The Illumination Trail | Torquay

At the heart of the Bay of Lights is the 1.5-mile Illumination Trail along Torquay seafront. This free and fully accessible trail features 18 large-scale light installations that stretch from Torre Abbey to Torquay’s harbour side. Expect stunning digital light shows, festive music, and countless photo opportunities to make magical memories with friends and family.

The multi award-winning Christmas experience and the UK’s first ever steam train of lights! The Christmas Train of Lights is now the must-see event in the South West festive calendar and of course the 2025 show will capture the magic of our previous shows and will also feature new lineside displays and surprises that can only be viewed from the train on your journey.

Lanterns, Lights and ‘luminations | Brixham
The Quay, Brixham, Devon, TQ5 8TA
Brixham will celebrate its Christmas Lights Switch-On with “Lanterns, Lights and ‘luminations.”
Organised by Brixham Town Council, the event began in 2007 and has become a local favourite, featuring a lantern parade, fireworks, live music, street entertainment, and a bustling market that now spans Middle Street, The Strand, The Old Fish Market, and The Quay.

Zooluminate | Dartmoor Zoo

Experience a magical and wintery walk around Dartmoor Zoo, taking in a series of beautiful light installations (from JHAV, the incredible team that brought you The Atlantic Project and Illuminate Festival of Light), which bring the zoo to life after dark in the most enchanting way possible!
There are stunning installation spaces the entire way around the site, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities for those selfies, plus – some of our enclosures are going to be illuminated, so you might even get the chance to see our animals all snuggled up for the night.
