Autumn Adventure at Bowood

Enjoy a fun family day out at Bowood this October half term! Follow our Pumpkin Trail through the grounds and claim your edible treat!

Enjoy spectacular falconry displays, including a fascinating static display where you can meet these magnificent birds up close on Sunday 25th, Wednesday 28th October and Sunday 1st November.

Round off your visit by exploring our Arts & Crafts area, packed with creative activities and seasonal inspiration for all ages. Step into vibrant autumn colours with a stroll through the beautiful Arboretum. Hunt for the hidden Ghost for a chance to win a season ticket for 2027!

Parsons Pumpkin Patch

Join us at Parsons Pumpkin Patch, Nr. Bulford, for a fun filled pumpkin picking experience, on our working family farm. Established in 2020 (our 7th season!), we have been mega busy again, growing an awesome selection of spectaular pumpkins, squash and gourds in our field.

Come and join in the Halloween spirit and find your perfect pumpkin on ‘the patch’! Offering a traditional Halloween atmosphere, the pick-your-own area is decorated with straw bales, scarecrows, spiders and more (we love surprises!).

Cute, miniature wheelbarrows are at the ready for your little pumpkin pickers. Refreshments are available and delicious treats by Gimme a Bake.

Owl-O-Ween at Hawk Conservancy Trust

Hawk Conservancy Trust, Sarson Lane, Weyhill, Andover, Hampshire, SP11 8DY

Prepare yourself and your little ones for a wickedly spook-tacular family evening this Halloween. Enjoy ghostly storytelling and marvel at our owls as they put on two mystical flying displays against the backdrop of our moonlit grounds.

Before the first flying display begins, you can take part in our fiendish Halloween Trail around the Trust, and explore our grounds and see our birds in their homes. If you fancy a bite to eat, a delicious barbeque and fresh hot churros will be available to purchase! Feathers Restaurant will be open to buy warm drinks and light snacks.
