There are lots of ways to celebrate Halloween. It’s the perfect excuse to bake some bat shaped cookies, light some orangey candles, or make some popcorn and host a horror movie night. Not to mention all the sweets that you have to buy ‘just in case we get trick-or-treaters’…

Halloween at Easton Farm Park

Visit the farm this Halloween and get spooked in the Creepy Crawly Maze and Fright Barn. Make Halloween crafts, follow the Witches Trail for your Trick or Treat and visit the Pumpkin Patch to take away your very own pumpkin.

HALLOWEEN AT STONHAM BARNS PARK

tonham Barns Park is preparing for a Spooky Fun Day to celebrate Halloween when there will be two children’s Halloween Parties to bring on some family fun.  Situated in The Barn there will be craft activities, games, a colouring competition and a fancy-dress competition.

The retail, leisure and holiday destination venue is staging the two parties – one in the morning and one in the afternoon – and some activities for the half-term week including a The Ghost Trail or What’s In the Window Competition at its retail village. Families just need to complete a form as part of the competition and return it to Carters of Suffolk to collect a prize. Cartoons will also be part of the entertainment on offer.

NightMARE at the Museum

It looks as if it is going to be another NightMare at the Museum, this spooky season!

Join us on Thursday 29th October for a Spooky Scavenger Hunt through the Museum grounds – you might even meet a few scary characters along the way. Plus, get creative with a range of creepy crafts, play some ghoulish games, enter our Fab-Boo-lous fancy-dress competition (even our horses will be joining in on the fun!) and collect your Halloween treat bag. Refreshments available to purchase throughout the evening.

Pumpkin Night – Suffolk Food Hall

In aid of Brave Futures, we are hosting our own Pumpkin Carving Competition and welcome every child and adult far and wide to enter their beautifully carved pumpkin, for a donation of just £2. Whether you’re an expert pumpkin carver or just having some fun, we would love to see your entry – the more creative the better! The winner will receive a luxury Food & Drink Hamper, perfect for sharing with your fellow carving team or indulging in yourself! Carved pumpkins are to be dropped at Suffolk Food Hall between 9am 29th – 12pm 30th October.

Come along to our Pumpkin Night Event on 30th October 4pm – 6pm and vote for your favourite carved pumpkin! All carved pumpkins will be on display outside in a magically lit setting for you to cast your vote. Entry is £2.50 per person. What to expect at the event:

Murder Mystery Dinner

s Halloween time approaches, the Ministry of Monsters are meeting for their annual conference. All the usual suspects are there with their stalls, the vampires running night-time yoga, witches peddling cauldron maintenance kits, it’s been rumoured even the invisible man is due to appear, that is if anybody can find him!

However, as the council convenes, they are (somewhat ironically) given a fright themselves! It seems the head of the Council has met their maker, and it’s clear foul play is at hand.
