Toffee apples, lanterns, monster masks, and fairy wings; there is something decidedly exciting about Halloween – no matter how old you are.

There are lots of ways to celebrate Halloween. It’s the perfect excuse to bake some bat shaped cookies, light some orangey candles, or make some popcorn and host a horror movie night. Not to mention all the sweets that you have to buy ‘just in case we get trick-or-treaters’…

So embrace all things spooky and make some plans. This Halloween is going to be amazing. And we’re here to help.

Whether you’re a gutsy horror fan with an unflinching love of all things scary, or a glitter and glue stick advocate with a flair for crafting the best fancy dress costumes, we have something for you to get involved in this Halloween…

For Fearless Adults

Spooky Forest Walk

Scaresville Haunted Village

Kentwell Hall, Long Melford

Wed 3rd October – Sat 3rd November 2018

Legend has it that every year, around Halloween, a haunted village known as Scaresville appears in Suffolk…

The experience takes place during the evening when it is dark. Make your way through woods, buildings, and parkland, and prepare to be scared along the way.

This is a group activity, and the more people attending, the better discount you get.

Each group has a specified time slot, and you are advised to arrive 15 minutes before your slot.

Whilst you wait, you can have something to eat and watch wandering magicians and fire displays in the Unfairground.

From when your group is called into the Scarezone, you will be walking (and getting thoroughly scared) for around an hour. If you survive, there is a bar at the other end where you can celebrate to a Halloween inspired soundtrack.

Tickets

Ticket prices vary based on when you want to go. It will be cheaper if you book in advance as prices will increase the closer you get to the date.

Be aware that some time slots will sell out quickly, so book online as soon as you know you want to go. Discounts are available for groups of over 10 people, so it is worth getting a group of people together if you can.
