Hosted for the first time ever at RHS Garden Hyde Hall, the garden will be bursting bank into life for the RHS Early Spring Show.

Colchester Town & Country Fair

Now in its 10th year this popular family event takes place in pretty Lower Castle Park right in the heart of historic Colchester Town. Essex Young Farmers Country Show

There’s something for all the family at this traditional agricultural show, including an equine area, game fair, livestock tent, fairground and food hall. Shop till you drop at a wide variety of trade stands, pop into the tea rooms for a slice of homemade cake, make friends with the hounds from the local hunt and enjoy a display at one of the four rings – there’s everything from lawn mower racing to tug of war.

Brentwood Festival

The family friendly Brentwood Festival returns from Friday 12th July until Sunday 14th July 2019 and takes place at The Brentwood Centre.

Expect around 25 bands and DJs across 2 stages. On Friday and Saturday there is also an after party featuring live DJs.

Expect the festival to have full facilities including camping facilities, showers, 24-hour security, plus 100 real ales on tap in the Brentwood Brewing Company beer tent. Expect the return of the VIP lounge, kids zone, street food village, and festival market.

Tendring Show

Essex County’s Premier Agricultural Event. Attracting crowds in the region of 20,000 each year. Come and join the fun!

Echoes of History Show

The Premier Living History and Military Vehicle Show for East Anglia!

Ever wondered what it would be like to live as a Viking … or perhaps you wondered how a Roman Centurion spent his time … even a French resistance fighter as she made her way through occupied France, these are just a few of the reenactors you can see at Echoes of History.

From push bikes to massive trucks that even make the tanks look small! The tanks and armoured vehicles will be taking part in the awesome and well renowned vehicle parades. In addition to the battle re-enactments, we also have a fantastic line up of classic cars, bikes and buses.

Also, militaria stalls and a new food area.

Dogs allowed on lead at all times. However please be aware there will be loud unexpected bangs and noises, also, there will be large vehicles and tanks movements so please ensure you take care.

Orsett Show

Set in 30 acres of countryside, the annual Orsett Show in Essex is a great day out with plenty for all the family to see and do.

It’s one of the oldest one-day Country Shows in England, with the 113th Show in 2019.

There are marquees featuring Horticulture, Agriculture, Hobbies & Handicrafts, Schools, Craft Stalls and over 100 Trade Stands arranged around the outside of the Show Ground.

In the centre there’s an ever-changing programme of exciting displays in the Grand Display Ring and events throughout the day in the Horse Rings. There’s certainly something for everyone at this County Show!

The Venture Centre 2000 is situated in the centre of Lawford, the hall is modern and spacious with ample free parking. The National Country Show Live

The annual two-day National Country Show Live is Chelmsford’s largest family event, held on the event fields of Hylands Park.
