Northamptonshire is centrally located in England, surrounded by eight other counties. Once known as the hunting county of “spires and squires” there are many stately homes and historic buildings to visit in the rolling countryside, which is also home to number of motorsport teams and venues.
County overviewHampshire is a large county on the South coast of England, famed for its national parks, stately homes and maritime history, accessible from London in a couple of hours by road and rail. The coastline includes two of Europe’s largest ports, Southampton and Portsmouth, home to almost two thirds of the Royal Navy. Inland you will find the national parks of the South Downs and the New Forest which together make up some 45% of the county.
County overviewLincolnshire on the east coast is a very rural county where agriculture is still important. Visitors can explore the coast or fenlands, the rolling countryside, stately homes, the city of Lincoln or the towns at Boston, Grantham or Stamford.
