Happy Days Retro Vacations is a small tree lined trailer park offering a slice of vintage Americana in the Suffolk countryside. This award winning site has been listed amongst the Top 20 UK Glamping sites in The Times for the last 5 years. It is perfect for families, couples and exclusive hire for parties and is based just a mile outside the town of Saxmundham and 5 miles from the Suffolk Coast. As well as their own nine shiny retro American Airstream caravans, the site has space for visiting vintage caravans, campervans and tents. There is a kids play area in the garden and each trailer has a fire pit free of charge. The site has a toilet and shower block with family style shower rooms and hot water washing up sinks.

Broadland Sands Holiday Park is set in a picturesque coastal location, between Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth. The site boasts a fantastic range of facilities, including amusement arcades, an adventure playground, crazy golf, and a spectacular new heated indoor swimming pool with 45 metre flume.  There is also daytime and evening entertainment for the whole family, with a family entertainment venue, a sports bar and lounge, restaurant, and takeaway. Gralyn’s Caravan Park just outside Woodbridge is a quiet site in the countryside. Not far from Bentwaters air base and Sutton Hoo Anglo-Saxon village if you like history, and perfectly placed for exploring Aldeburgh beach or rowing at Thorpness, around 30 mins drive. Kings Forest Holidays, West Stow have 20 spacious pitches on their Adults Only Caravan Park that provides immediate access to the beautiful Kings Forest. Enjoy views across the horse fields and the forest where you can often see Fallow Deer grazing at this quiet location, ideal for walkers, dog-walkers and nature enthusiasts. Peewit Caravan Park, Felixstowe has been welcoming visitors since 1965. The 13 acre tree-lined and landscaped parkland is situated just 900m from Felixstowe’s 4 miles of seafront making it popular with families. The site welcomes touring caravans, motorhomes, tents and holiday home owners and many return year after year – dogs are also welcome! Haw Wood Farm Caravan and Camping Park, Southwold, is a peaceful site with spacious pitches, and is within easy reach of beaches at Aldeburgh, Southwold, Walberswick and Dunwich – perfect for a family break to the seaside. The site is also next door to a Pay & Play Golf Course. The park is in an area of some of the darkest night skies, ideal for star-gazing and very romantic. Dogs on leads are welcome. Polstead Camping and Caravanning Club Site is situated on the edge of a conservation area in the beautiful Suffolk countryside close to Hadleigh and Sudbury, with plenty of activities to keep all the family entertained. There is an excellent network of footpaths around the village, many of which take in the area’s ancient woodland.

Cakes and Ale Holiday Park, Theberton is set within 45 acres of immaculate grounds and just minutes from the RSPB Minsmere bird sanctuary and the ancient monument of Leiston Abbey. Cakes and Ale is the ideal place to explore the Suffolk Heritage coast, or just to relax and put your feet up. It is equidistant from Aldeburgh and Southwold (ca 8 miles each way) and is very well placed near to Saxmundham, Leiston & Eastbridge for local services and facilities. Run Cottage Touring Park, Woodbridge is a small, family run 20 caravan park with an abundance of wildlife and native birds to see, from sparrows to barn owls, rabbits to deer. By the stream at the bottom of the site you may see ducks, moorhens and maybe even catch sight of the elusive king fisher! So if wildlife is your thing, Run Cottage could be the place for you!

Mollett’s Farm, Benhall is a certified location open to Caravan club members only, set on a small working farm on the A12 just before the Aldeburgh & Snape turn off. Consequently it is a great base to explore the Suffolk Heritage coast, but with only 5 pitches, be sure to book well in advance! There are also self catering studios and cottages on site, so if you’re holidaying with people who prefer a fixed abode, Molletts could be the place for all of you!

With one part of the site adjacent to the beach and the other enclosed by willow and shrubs, the White House Beach Caravan Club Site has a pitch to suit all tastes. Early summer the foreshore is a riot of colour with wild flowers, including the rare Yellow Poppy. Earliest arrival 12 noon, latest arrival 8pm. Beachside pitches cannot be pre-booked.

Marsh Farm Caravan Site, Sternfield and Fishing Lakes is an undiscovered gem of a site tucked away in the peaceful Suffolk countryside, close to Saxmundham and the Suffolk Coast. The Farm is a stunning 200 site with 4 fishing lakes. 30 acres are set aside as a well maintained caravan site with electric hook ups, overlooking the lakes and surrounding countryside. This is a family run site and it’s best to call them to book!
