Saturday 25th May to Monday 27th May

The Kent Garden Show

Kent Showground, Detling, Maidstone. ME14 3JF

Open: 9.30am to 5pm (Monday to 3.30pm)

This show will feature over 300 exhibitors with a wide variety of goods on display and for sale. The features of the show include the floral marquees with their stunning floral displays including medal winners from Chelsea. The garden exhibitors have all manner of gardening goods for sale and include over sixty nurseries. There is a craft pavilion, food hall, brass band and children’s rides.

Dogs not allowed except guide dogs

Tickets: Adults £8, Seniors £7, Children Free

Folkstone and Ashford Military Show and Country Fair

Sellindge Show Ground, Swan Lane, Sellindge. TN25 6HH

Open: 10am to 5pm both day

Fun and entertainment for all the family
Military vehicles, classic cars, tractors, steam engines, food vendors, small fanfare, marquee entertainment. Arena entertainment includes tigers motorcycle youth team, spearfish creek and various military re-actors. Wealden Times Midsummer Fair

Hole Park, Rolvenden, Cranbrook. TN17 4JA

Open: 9am to 4.30pm each day

Set in the stunning grounds of the Hole Park estate near Tenterden, will be showcasing over 250 handpicked exhibitors selling contemporary and vintage home wares, garden accessories, fabulous fashion and jewellery as well as artisan food and drink. All products sold at the fairs are chosen for their exceptional quality, good craftsmanship, originality and fine design, and can either be found inside five large retail marquees or outside in the avenue and around the showground.

Dogs on lead welcomed

Summer Show

The Woodlands Farm Trust, 331 Shooters Hill, Welling. DA16 3RP

Open: 11am to 4pm

Come and meet our animals and enjoy a chance to buy quality local produce at reasonable prices, including home-made preserves, cakes and honey. There will be a Falconry Display by Joe’s Bows, a Sheep Shearing Display and an opportunity to try our Tractor-Drawn Trailer Rides, get involved in craft activities and games, and enjoy displays of country crafts.

25th Classic Car Show

With almost 200 exhibitors, our 25th Classic Car Rally will be bigger and better than ever before

Featuring a range of vehicles, from beautiful Aston Martins, and much-loved Morgan’s, to motorbikes, magnificent and historic steam engines and perhaps a tractor or two!

There’s something to entertain all the family too, including stalls, falconry displays. Our very own Plants & Produce will be selling their seasonal home-grown produce, beautiful bedding plants, perennials and shrubs

Tonbridge Carnival Procession & Fete

Tonbridge High Street & Tonbridge Castle

Opens: 12.30pm to 4.30pm

This popular annual event begins with the usual carnival procession. This year’s theme is “Flower Power. The carnival procession will include bands, walking groups, floats and majorettes, and will leave Angel West Car Park (Sainsbury’s car park High Street side) at 12.30pm and proceed through the High Street to Tonbridge Castle.

After the procession, the fête will be held on the Castle Lawn and in Castle Walk. During the afternoon the winning procession entries will be announced.

Kent County Show

A showcase event for farming, countryside and rural life.  The three-day event brings together the very best of Kent with animals and food, fun and excitement and above all a sense of what ‘The Garden of England’ has to offer, for the whole family.

The Show is a wonderful day out with plenty of displays, entertainment and local food.  With over 400 exhibitors and trade stands and over 300 competitions, activities and displays.

Well behaved dogs allowed on a short lead but not permitted inside the Maidstone Exhibition Hall, The Clive Emson Conference Centre, any Marquee which contains food, the cattle/goat marquees and sheep line.

Battle of Britain Air Show

The Battle of Britain Air Show with attractions for all the family which include flight experiences, a funfair and stalls.

Enjoy our Battle of Britain display featuring representative aircraft from the Battle of Britain era between 11am and 3:30pm.

Spitfires, Hurricanes and other aircraft of the period such as the Tiger Moth and Harvard T6 will also take part.

Dogs allowed on lead but must make provisions to clear up after heir dog. This is not a dog-friendly show.

With over 400 varieties of Cherry in the National Fruit Collection at Brogdale we have something to celebrate. The Cherry Fair is packed with cherry entertainment including a cherry pip spit, messy cherry pie eating competitions, live music, local producers and a display of cherries like you have never seen or tasted before!

Country Fayre

St Martin’s Field and the Fairfield Road Recreation Ground in New Romney.

The largest free event on Romney Marsh and is a true community event attracting over 7,000 visitors.

Starting with a huge vibrant and colourful parade through the High Street to St Martin’s Field for the Official Opening. A full programme of entertainment in two arenas will begin with 100 stalls selling produce of all kinds, crafts, tombolas and games.

Biddenden Tractorfest & Country Fair

An annual event now entering its 7th year. While tractors (over 200 in 2018), remain central to attracting visitors, the essence of Tractorfest is the provision of a gentle summer day out in a Countryside Fair setting with nostalgic sights and sounds. Tractor rides, numerous arena displays like dog shows, falconry, working Cob horses, craft stalls, children’s entertainment, enticing local artisan food and drink and of course, fantastic live music are just some of the attractions.

Hythe Venetian Fete

This event will feature around 130 exhibitors showcasing their work in marquees within the award-winning Hever Castle Gardens set in 125 acres of glorious grounds with the backdrop of the historic castle – the childhood home of Anne Boleyn.  Exhibitors have been selected from the UK’s finest designer makers and contemporary artists.

Woodfest & Country Fair

The Belmont Woodfest & Country Fair is an event not to be missed. We have lots of exciting woodland demonstrations taking place over the weekend including chainsaw carving, horse logging, pole lathe turning, bushcraft as well as vintage tractors and a fantastic display of stationary steam engines.

The main arena attractions run continuously throughout the day will include The Galloping Acrobatics, Joe’s Bows Falconry Display, Gun Dog demonstrations, Ferret Racing, Terrier Racing, Fun Dog Show (Sunday only) and the Golden Retriever Display Team (Sunday only).

We have craft making activities, creepy claws animal display, climbing wall and boulder for the children to enjoy. With music, entertainment, local foods, craft stalls and a bar.

The Southern Model Show in association with the Maidstone Model Flying Club will feature a stunning array of model aircraft, helicopters, ships, tank and other vehicles. A full range of other activities and a show ground packed with traders makes this a must go event for anyone with an interest in this fascinating hobby whether a professional or a beginner.

Dogs allowed on lead but please bear in mind there will be lots of loud bangs and noises, which may cause distress to your dog.

National Fruit Show
