Situated in the town centre, The Princes Theatre is a hub of entertainment that thrives on providing customer excellence for Clacton-on-Sea.

Constructed in 1931, the impressive, purpose-built Princes Theatre sits inside the Grade II listed building of Clacton Town Hall.

Now staging over 150 shows, seminars, exhibitions, meetings, weddings & events per year, we are also proud to be the district’s largest wedding and events venue.

Our bar is open 45 minutes before the performance and during intervals. A wide selection of drinks and crisps, nuts, tea and coffee are available.

We also offer advance ordering to avoid the interval rush. A selection of sweets and ice-creams are available to purchase before the commencement of a show and during the interval.
