Still family-owned and now in its third generation, Poplar is renowned for its exceptional range of quality plants, knowledgeable customer service, and welcoming atmosphere.

🚂 The Poplar Miniature Railway

A firm favourite with families, the Poplar Miniature Railway has been delighting visitors for over a decade. The charming 350-yard railway winds its way through beautiful gardens, passing Orchard Curve, Cottage Crossing, Folly Bank, and a purpose-built tunnel before returning to the station. Suitable for all ages, it’s the perfect addition to a family day out.

The railway operates daily (weather permitting):
• Monday to Saturday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
• Sunday: 10:00am – 3:30pm

Unlimited ride wristbands are available, alongside single-ride tickets, with children under four travelling free when accompanied by an adult.
