Overview
The peninsula tour starts at the Mullion Cove harbour before reaching the stunning sandy Kynance Cove and the southerly Lizard Point Lighthouse. Head up towards the Helford River before crossing to Flambards and down to The Marconi Centre.
Trenance
You won’t see Willy Wonka but be sure to visit the Chocolate Factory and see chocolatiers crafting the delicious chocolate. The craft centre also has a range of galleries, jewellery workshops and you may indulge in some of the gifts shops.
Mullion
The Lizard’s largest village, Mullion is a collection of art galleries, craft shops, boutiques and restaurants. The working harbour nestles between the two harbour walls and offers protection from the Atlantic breakers. Visit the nearby stunning Mullion Cove – be sure to take your camera!
Kynance Cove
A kaleidoscope of colour with the white sandy beach, red and green rock and turquoise waters Kynance Cove is a majestic sight.
Helford
Helford is pretty village overlooking the River Helford. Take in the estuary vista, board a river boat or visit Frenchman’s Creek, made famous in Daphne Du Maurier’s novel.
