Pumpkin Carving Competition at Martin’s Bar & Restaurant

Pumping Carving Competition

Bring your carved pumpkin to us before 4pm to take part.

Carve your pumpkin at home or outside your accommodation and bring it to us to take part in the competition.

Judging will be at 5pm, before our Halloween disco begins at 6pm.

Spooktacular Halloween Party  at The Allendale Centre

The Allendale Centre, Hanham Road, Wimborne Minster, Dorset, BH21 1AS

Join us on Sunday 29th October for a spooooky Spooktacular Halloween Party! There’ll be a disco, party games and prizes. Have fun and dress up for the occasion – who can look the most scary?

Suitable for ages 3 – 11.

Halloween Ghost Hunt at Dorchester Prison

Dorchester Prison, North Square Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1JD

Join us at Dorchester Prison and be part of this unique and terrifying experience.

The grim and foreboding abandoned Dorchester Prison is rife with ghostly activity. Cell doors slam, keys jangle and stones are thrown by unseen hands. Voices are heard and cold spots appear for no reason. The sound of a piano is often heard and shadowy figures emerge from nowhere. We are really nervous about spending the night here on our overnight ghost hunt. You have the opportunity to join us and to work out who or what haunts this terrifying building.

Your event will include:

Tour of the location
Use of ghost hunting equipment
Vigils in small groups
Traditional and modern experiments
Beverages throughout the night
Opportunity to ghost hunt alone if location permits

Abbotsbury Swannery Halloween Fun

New Barn Rd, Weymouth, DT3

Throughout the October school half term, visit the Swannery and join our fun Halloween event.

Hidden within the Swannery grounds will be a secret word carved in the Pumpkins.

Follow the trail to collect the letters and uncover the secret word! Cast a spooky spell in our potions house and discover the pirate skeletons around the Swannery. Also within the Swannery Classroom, there will be an autumnal creative craft to take home.

Kids for £1 or FREE if in fancy dress, with a full paying adult (each adult can bring a maximum of 3 kids). No advanced tickets needed, pay on the day.

This event is Halloween themed but not scary, it has been created with under 10 year old’s in mind.
