Southwold Tide Walk
Join William Thomson FRGS on a Tide Walk to discover the natural processes making tides, waves, winds and currents – exploring techniques to harness their energy for your adventures and #SeasThePower.
The walk is 1 mile along the beach with stops every 200 metres, each time exploring a new topic – what makes the tide, why currents flow along the shore, how to spot a rip. Through models and demonstrations, Thomson makes the science accessible to all ages and abilities.
Tide Walks have been featured and recommended by The Telegraph, Guardian, Conde Naste Traveller and The Times – see reviews at www.tidalcompass.com [link below]
