Ancient Grains Bread Workshop
Come along to The Food Hub Cookery School at Kenton Hall Estate for an Ancient grains bread workshop with Sue Hudson. An exciting and healthy ingredient to use when making your own bread, you will have a selection of Farro wheat and have the opportunity to mill some wholemeal flour yourself to use in your bread making. Learn about the health-giving properties of unrefined ancient grains, feel the difference in the dough and enjoy the enhanced flavours offered by these older varieties of wheat. Today you will make 4 different styles of bread, to include plain and stuffed flatbreads, beautiful mixed grain free form seeded loaves, malted fruit loaf and rye bread with wholegrain spelt as well as a demo by your tutor, Sue.
