Suffolk River Trips – Orford

Take a river trip along the river Ore

Depart from the town quay at Orford on board Tilly or Kitty and head downriver on a one hour round trip with commentary, circumnavigating the RSPB reserve at Havergate Island en route.
This part of the river Ore is very unspoilt and a haven for wildlife.

On the seaward side of the river we will pass Orford Ness, a fascinating and secret place which has played an important role in our nation’s military history with many of the buildings erected during the Cold War period still standing. We will provide more of an insight into the significance of this historical area.

All our boats carry up to 12 passengers. Dogs are very welcome.
