Theatre in the Forest 2026: Twelfth Night

Red Rose Chain returns to the National Trust’s Sutton Hoo from 22 July – 22 August with a beautiful production of William Shakespeare’s TWELFTH NIGHT, in memory of our Artistic Director Joanna Carrick.

Join us on the island of Illyria this summer for Shakespeare’s hilarious romance of mistaken identity! Shipwrecked twins Viola and Sebastian are separated, each assuming that the other is drowned. When Viola disguises herself as a boy to work for the Count Orsino, a hilarious comedy unfolds, full of romance, revenge and…yellow stockings!
