Sheep Shearing, Topiary and Craft Weekend

Wool on the Farm: Have you ever seen a sheep being shorn?  Come to Kentwell this weekend and watch as Steve the Shearer shears our sheep!

Our living-history experts will be working with wool, while elsewhere their modern counterparts will be showing more modern aspects of wool and textile wrangling.
Some other crafts will also be demonstrated at the farm area.

Topiary in the Gardens:  It’s not just the sheep who are getting a hair-cut this weekend – it’s time to clip our topiary hedges and sculptures.  Come and see the Pied Piper Hedge, the Fruit Bowl, the giant Caterpillar and our huge Snail emerging from their spring growth!

It’s a lovely time in the gardens as just about everywhere is approaching its peak – flowers, blossom and trees
