A Hundred Strings in Bournemouth: Ragas by the Sea

On Saturday 21 November A Hundred Strings comes to the Palace Court Theatre in Bournemouth. Grammy-nominated sitarist Adnan Khan plays in the gayaki ang, Vinay Desai plays the santoor as a disciple of Padma Vibhushan Pandit Shivkumar Sharma, and Ustad Akram Khan of the Ajrada gharana plays tabla for both. The sitar slides between notes; the santoor moves in runs. Doors 6:45 PM, music 7 PM to 9:30 PM (GMT). Early bird £20 until 6 November, then £25. Students £15. Unallocated seating.
