Speaker: Dan Miles & Richard Drew
Dan is an archaeologist at Historic England and Trustee of the Wiltshire Museum who is working with BDAC on the carbon footprint.
He has been involved in the Operation Nightingale and Time Team excavations at Aldbourne which he will be describing.
Richard is a BDAC Historian responsible for archiving work and overseeing display panels throughout the Museum.
He has a special interest in the Normandy landings and leads teams to visit them.
He will be describing the Dakota as a follow up of Dan’s talk.
PRICING
At this time there is no initial charge for gaining access to online talks but we hope people will make donations via the website. Similarly there are no charges for downloading the recordings. For the live talks at the museum non member visitors pay a £5.00 entry fee which includes tea/coffee and biscuits and free access to the museum at the time. Donations from Members would be greatly appreciated.
ACCESS TO ONLINE TALKS
Two weeks before a presentation BDAC members will receive a flyer detailing the talk and requesting that they indicate via a link their interest in joining the talk. Two days before the talk they will be sent a meeting link. Non members and members whose email address is not known to the BDAC who wish to join a presentation need to register with BDAC via the website > Events > Newsletter > Sign up.
By doing this they will receive the information as it is distributed.
