The Coach House Tea Rooms
The Coach House Tea Rooms are set in the former Coach House at Helmingham Hall Gardens.
Whether you’re a keen gardener wishing to view the gardens, or you simply want a quiet place to relax with a cup of tea and some cake, our peaceful tea rooms are just what you’re looking for.
The Coach House Tea Rooms are open when the gardens are, between 12 noon and 4:30pm (last orders at 4.00pm), giving you ample time to sample our range of dishes from our light lunch menu, or to try an afternoon tea treat from our constantly changing array of freshly baked cakes.
The quintessential English cream tea is usually on offer, and we use only the finest Cornish clotted cream and jam for our handmade scones.
We have plenty of seating inside, or maybe you’d prefer to take advantage of our flower-filled courtyard which acts as a sun trap during the summer and provides shelter on bright and breezy days – simply ask at the tea rooms for the loan of a knee blanket if you need a little extra protection!
