The Arty Silkworm: Silk Painting Workshops

Our wonderful workshops are perfect for beginners and those with experience alike. The day is relaxed but structured and begins with an introduction to Silk, to the way the professional dyes work, the methods of application and the process of fixing and finishing your wonderful, exciting creations.

You will learn the skills of folding, tying and wrapping, Gutta resist and salt surprises to produce practice pieces and samplers.By the end of the day, you will have created your own sumptuous and unique silk scarf, vibrant with brilliant colour, to take home with you. A real Work of Art!
